Kristen V. Brown is a health reporter and editor at Bloomberg, where she has chronicled the rise of consumer genetic testing, DIY gene hacking and synthetic biology. Throughout the global pandemic, she covered the efforts of scientists working to stop the spread of Covid, as well the people battling misinformation that was keeping Americans in Covid’s grip. Her last podcast series, Doubt, explored the roots of the vaccine hesitancy movement in America. It was nominated for a Webby. A native Californian, Kristen is based in Brooklyn, New York.
